Directly across from the St. Johns County Ocean Pier. Amazing open air space downstairs, plus a rooftop bar, lounge, and shaded patio, with indoor seating too. You'll often find me here for happy hour with co-workers (Tues through Thurs, 3pm to 6:30pm). Wednesday is half off wings and beer.
Their wings are amazing, and I order mine extra crispy. Oysters aren't my favorite, but my co-workers love them, and on Thursdays oysters and margaritas are half off. I can think of worse places to be than sitting on the rooftop with a cold margarita, looking out at the ocean. It's one of my favorite happy hour spots.
There's live music on the patio daily starting at 6pm. And if you live or are staying nearby, there's a free shuttle, so you don't have to worry about parking, or about responsibly enjoying a margarita or two.
Some would call this a tourist spot, and I'm totally okay with that. It checks the boxes of what being on vacation is all about: great location, great drinks, and a fun atmosphere.
