Conch House Lounge
If you only do one waterfront drink in St. Augustine, make it this one. The Conch House Lounge connects to the marina, giving stunning views over the water and out to the lighthouse. Because it's part of the marina, you'll see locals coming in with their fresh caught fish, beautiful birds all around, and it's a great place to spot sea turtles grazing on algae along the docks.
The whole place leans into an easy Caribbean vibe, tropical drinks, a Goombay Smash if you're feeling it. It's part of the Conch House Marina Resort, which also features lodging and a restaurant.
There's live music out at the lounge Thursday through Sunday, and Happy Hour runs Monday through Friday from 4pm to 7pm, with $2 off all beer, wine, and mixed drinks.
After a long week, you'll often find me here on a Friday night with coworkers. It's a great place to unwind, and a reminder that I live on vacation.
